Throughout the year I have learned not only to accept my neurodiversity, but to also embrace and celebrate it. That’s why I decided to focus on the heightened levels of anxiety that are prevalent within the Autistic community for Master’s thesis. I believe that Musical Theatre could be an important strategy to help neurodiverse individuals therefore I would like to use my voice to increase the accessibility for neurodiverse people. I would also like to empower other neurodiverse professional Musical Theatre performers, ensuring we have the support and understanding we need in order to thrive. Finally, I am making it my mission to ensure neurodiverse performers have equal opportunities to their neurotypical counterparts.
